We started building during the Covid-19 shelter-in-place orders
When Covid-19 hit and the travel industry shut down, my buddy Tim at Palapas Ventana turned his resort crew into a construction crew to help keep them busy and earning money. We decided to help out and pulled together our savings and have them build our home.
Construction started quickly. Here is a view of our sandy beach from the living room. We are using adobe blocks for their insulation qualities and beauty.
